AirBending is developed by Nanas Sound OÜ. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Your Camera Stays Private
All hand tracking runs entirely on your device. Your camera feed, video frames, and hand-tracking data are never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere — not to us, not to anyone.
Anonymous Usage Analytics (Opt-Out)
To understand which features matter most and improve the app, AirBending collects anonymous usage analytics through TelemetryDeck , a privacy-focused analytics service based in Germany. This includes:
- App launches and feature usage events (for example, which controls are used and where the free trial leads)
- Aggregate hand-tracking session durations
- General device context: app version, OS version, device model, locale, and region
- An anonymous, one-way-hashed identifier that cannot be traced back to you or your device
You can turn this off at any time with the “Share Anonymous Usage Data” toggle in the app’s More menu. When disabled, no analytics are collected or sent.
What We Never Collect
- No names, email addresses, accounts, or contact information
- No camera, video, or audio data of any kind
- No MIDI or OSC content, preset names, or network addresses you configure
- No location data
- No advertising identifiers — we do not track you across apps or websites, and we never share or sell data
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details.
Third-Party Processor
Analytics data is processed by TelemetryDeck GmbH (Germany) on servers in the EU. TelemetryDeck anonymizes data before storage and is designed for GDPR compliance. See the TelemetryDeck privacy policy for details.
