Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Bolabolabola is developed by Nanas Sound OÜ. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Your Music Stays Private
All physics and MIDI generation run entirely on your device. Your MIDI notes, presets, and routing are never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. Not to us, not to anyone.
Anonymous Usage Analytics (Opt-Out)
To understand which features matter most and improve the app, Bolabolabola collects anonymous usage analytics through TelemetryDeck , a privacy-focused analytics service based in Germany. This includes:
- App launches and feature usage events
- Aggregate session durations
- General device context: app version, OS version, device model, locale, and region
- An anonymous, one-way-hashed identifier that cannot be traced back to you or your device
You can turn this off at any time with the “Share Anonymous Usage Data” toggle in the app’s More menu on iOS, or in the menu bar on macOS. When disabled, nothing is collected or sent.
What We Never Collect
- No names, email addresses, accounts, or contact information
- No audio or MIDI content of any kind
- No location data
- No advertising identifiers: we do not track you across apps or websites, and we never share or sell data
Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Your trial and purchase state is stored locally on your device.
Third-Party Processor
Analytics data is processed by TelemetryDeck GmbH (Germany) on servers in the EU. TelemetryDeck anonymizes data before storage and is designed for GDPR compliance. See the TelemetryDeck privacy policy for details.
